The hotel’s guests were treated to a musical celebration throughout the anniversary weekend. And, of course, everyone enjoyed all of the great amenities that make our guests want to return to The Lighthouse Inn time and again.

More TV Channels
Responding to guest requests, we recently added five new television channels, including local networks and The Weather Channel to help you check the forecast during your stay. We also added Fox Sports Net Southwest, so now you can sit back and enjoy the game while you’re in your room.
Meet Brian Olsen
Say hello to Brian Olsen, our new general manager. Brian joined the Lighthouse Inn shortly after July 4th.
His experience includes 12 years with the Sheraton system and 10 years with Hilton hotels. Recently, he was General Manager of the Red Lion in Austin, and before that he served a seven-year term as Assistant General Manager of the 499-room Salt Lake City Hilton.
Brian is also experienced with resort hotels, having served as Assistant Director for The Cliff Lodge in Snowbird, in addition to working for two years in Palm Springs. He joined The Lighthouse Inn because he fell in love with the Rockport area and the unexpected level of luxury we bring to the Texas coast.

What’s Cookin’ at The Palm Room…
A low carb menu and other signature dishes aren’t the only thing that’s new at The Palm Room Restaurant. We’ve also expanded the kitchen, and we’re adding a large walk-in freezer, a second walk-in cooler and a second ice machine, not to mention another fryer and grill.
Our “new and improved” kitchen functionality will make The Palm Room’s waterfront dining service even better than before. We've also added a new brass beer tower (with a third tap), a wine hutch and a host of other little “extras” that will say “bon appetite” with a Texas twang.
So whether you’re part of a large group or you’re just in the mood for an intimate dining experience, make sure to get a taste of what’s cookin’ at The Palm Room.
