Rockport Texas Attractions
Boasting an average annual temperature comparable to that of Jacksonville or San Diego, Rockport, Texas is cooled in the summer by gentle gulf breezes. Shopping, restaurants and attractions are only minutes away from the Lighthouse Inn, and the city is renowned for its artist community offering museums, art galleries, antiques and craft stores. A major sport fishing destination, the Lighthouse Inn has built relationships with more than 75 charter captians in the area. Also, we can cook your catch at our Palm Room Bar & Grill!
The city features a beautiful mile-long beach, bountiful wildlife, golf, hunting, birding and many other outdoor recreations.
Guests of the Lighthouse Inn will enjoy on-property fishing, as well as our proximity to the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, Goose Island State Park, and the 18-hole Bill Coore-designed Rockport Country Club. Or you can satisfy your inner history buff at the elegant Fulton Mansion and the Texas Maritime Museum.
