To help make your drive to our Rockport hotel as smooth as possible, we’ve put together a list of important road trip tips.
Tip 1: Pack an Emergency Kit
Before setting off, make sure you have a well-stocked car emergency kit. This should include things like a first-aid kit, blanket, water and snacks, jumper cables and jump pack, warning devices like road flares or reflectors, and chargers. When packing the car, ensure you put things where you may need to get to them right away. For example, keep the first-aid kit in the glove compartment and your basic set of tools in the back/trunk.
Tip 2: Find Ways to Stay Entertained
The last thing you want to hear on your drive is someone saying they’re bored. There are several ways to make sure this doesn’t happen. One is taking a look at your route before you leave to see what activities and attractions you’ll pass.
